If you are looking for a band in the Boston area I hope you will consider the Alex MacDougall band. Lucky's Lounge is one of my favorite spots. If you have been there, you know the entertainment is great! But even better, you can hire their bands for your own private event at Lucky's or elsewhere. My favorite of course is the Alex MacDougall band. It doesn't hurt that the lead singer is incredibly adorable but I also have a sweet spot for them since they played at our FFB gala two years ago as a donation! I am hoping to rent a space with a fantastic dance floor one day so I can hire them to keep my guests dancin' all night long - they ARE that good!
